Sports participation has mitigated the COVID-19 pandemic’s harmful effects on youth's physical and mental health, so it may be more important than ever to make opportunities to play easily accessible.
As we prepare for the 2nd Edition of the Pamoja Soccer Tournament in 2024, we’d like to recognize our inaugural edition's participating teams - Wazalendo FC, Zan Heroes FC, Toronto Select FC, Ivory FC - for making the tournament a resounding success.
The tournament aims at promoting Youth Mental Health and Well-being while serving as a powerful platform to strengthen bonds between diverse communities, fostering understanding and appreciation through sports to create a harmonious environment, promoting unity and creating a sense of belonging for Canadians.

We celebrate and honour the strength and resilience of the Kenyan Canadian community in Brampton. Today and every day, we embrace the rich cultural tapestry that makes Brampton a welcome city for all.
KCA Honored with a Community Supporter award at The Kenyan Heritage Gala In British Columbia

Kenyan Canadian Association (KCA) received a Community Supporter Award from Kenyan Community in British Columbia at a colorful Kenyan Heritage Gala Dinner* on Saturday November 25, 2023 in Surrey, British Columbia. The event was hosted by Kenyan Community In British Columbia Society (KenBC) with over 300 guests in attendance.
KCA has been a key player in supporting KenBC events and other capacity bulding efforts for the benefit of their members, over the last three years. KenBC's Board of Directors and Event planning Team selected KCA from a pool of other organizations emerging the winner of the 2023 Community Supporter Award.
KCA is a federal not-for-profit that supports newcomers and other socially-excluded groups in 19 regions across Canada.
