Webinar 4: Media's Role in Ending Gender-Based Violence

Toronto, Canada – Thursday, October 14, 2021

The media and entertainment industry play a momentous role in shaping cultural attitudes about gender. Gender stereotypes and underrepresentation in media can contribute to negative attitudes and violence toward women. However, today’s fast access to news, television, film, and music presents new opportunities for us to address gender inequalities and end gender-based violence (GBV).

KCA is proud to announce the fourth installment in their series addressing Gender-Based Violence: Media’s Role in Ending Gender-Based Violence. Register today and join the conversation featuring media and entertainment leaders as they discuss the ways we can move media toward telling the stories that foster gender equality.
