The webinar was part of a high-impact series supported through funding by the Government of Canada through the Canadian Women’s Foundation, Safer + Stronger COVID-19 Emergency Grants.

Gender stereotypes and underrepresentation in media can contribute to negative attitudes and violence toward women. However, today’s fast access to news, television, film, and music presents new opportunities for us to address gender inequalities and end gender-based violence (GBV).
