Kenyan Canadian Association - KCA held its inaugural Seniors Celebration Day on Saturday, September 18, 2021 in North York, Ontario.
The event also featured the Senior of the Year Award to honour seniors, 65 years and above, that have made an outstanding voluntary contribution to enrich the social, economic and cultural life in the community. The recipients of the award must have made the commitment to service without thought of personal or financial gain.

The event was part of a high-impact webinar series supported by funding from the Government of Canada through the Canadian Women’s Foundation, Safer + Stronger COVID-19 Emergency Grant.
